New Document Recognition System: We have completely rebuilt and replaced the underlying systems that recognize documents when you upload them to create signings. This new system represents a major overhaul and should significantly increase the speed of your signing creation.

Added Ability to Manually Select Flow: During signing creation, when you upload documents, you now have the option to manually select the flow upfront to further speed up matching (by default, it is set to auto-select). If you are a user with multiple similar flows (for example, Retail Sale, Lease, Cash), you can manually choose the flow you intend to use to streamline the process.

Document Tags Visible in More Places: Now, when a document is tagged, that tag will appear in your documents library as well as when building flows. Next to the document name, you will now see its tag if it has one.

Documents with Rendering Avatar Can Now Be Added to Flows: If you add an avatar explanation to a document and its video is being generated, you can still work with this document and include it in a flow during that process. Please note that you still cannot add it to a signing until all the Avatar videos are fully rendered.

Improved Error Handling and Notifications When Network Connectivity Is Lost: You will now see clearer messages when the system detects that your network connection has been lost during a signing.

New Multi-Signer (In-Person) Experience: Now, when you create a signing with multiple in-person signers, you have the option to start them together in the same session. For example, if you create a signing with two signers and neither is marked as remote, clicking to start the signing will now prompt you to confirm if they will be signing together in the same session on the same device. From there, you can have any combination of signers in a single session. You can also mix and match— for instance, if you have four signers, you could set two as in-person together, one on a different device, and one remote!

2-Factor Code Entry Removed for In-Person Signings: Per user request, we have now disabled the requirement to enter a 2-factor code at signing for in-person signers.

Additional Signers: You can now add signatures for up to 10 signers (plus your company signature) on any document.

Live Support Chat in Your Dashboard: A live support chat icon is now available at the bottom right of your signing dashboard! Have a question or concern? Access our knowledge base or chat with support quickly!

Download PDFs from Your Templates: Have you ever created a document as a template and then misplaced the original file? We haven't either - but now you can download the original PDF used to create the template from the three-dot menu on each document.

Download PDFs from your Signings: If you have an active (non-completed) signing in progress (it is showing in your signings dashboard in either the “Not Started, “In Progress” or “Expired tabs”) you can now click on that signings “View” button, and download any of the unsigned PDFs sent to SecureClose as part of that signing.

Finished Signing Documents Sent to the Vault Immediately: We identified an issue where documents and videos were being sent to the vault simultaneously. Since processing videos can take additional time, we’ve separated the queues, so now documents are transferred to your vault immediately after signing is complete.

Idle Signing Pause: If your signer needs to step away for a minute (or precisely five minutes), the system will now pause automatically. If no activity is detected for five minutes, a popup will alert the user that the signing and recording have been paused until they return. This helps prevent lengthy periods of recording with no activity.

Rename Uploaded Files in the Vault: If you have permission, you can now edit the name of any file you’ve uploaded to your vault.

Signature Creation Moved Within Signing: Now when your users start a signing, they will not be asked to create their electronic signature until the first time they are required to place it on a document.

Ability to Click to Add Widgets when Programming Documents: When programming a document template, you can now simply click the name of the widget in the left-hand menu and an instance will be dropped in the middle of your document stage rather than needing to drag and drop.

Ability to Copy and Paste Widgets when Programming Documents: There is a new "Copy" icon at the top-left of every placed widget that will allow you to create an exact duplicate of it.

When editing Flows, users can now directly edit documents and return back to the flow: When editing a flow, if you click on the "View" button on a particular document to make changes to it, clicking the back button will now return you to the flow you were working on instead of the documents menu.
